At the beginning of the year, we have good news for you: In addition to small improvements, you can now like up to 100 songs and sync them across all devices. Have fun!

Let the sun shine on your ears, even cooler than before: our easy login now allows you to sync your favorite songs and playlists across all your favorite devices. From now on, you can also like 100 favorite songs for free and listen again, listen again, listen again....
Now you can listen to SWR3 while falling asleep! Simply click the three dots in the player view and set the sleep timer. When the time is up, the app will turn off automatically.

Through a technical advance that we ourselves would not have thought possible until recently, our app has now managed to make the radio program playable right at startup. This means: fewer grease stains on the display due to less pressing around. SWR3 now has all the games of your Bundesliga club live and in full length! Starting with the 2021/2022 season, you can listen to the Bundesliga conference and every single match of the 1st division live for 90 minutes via the SWR3 app! Whether you're on the road, in the car, or at home: Simply click on your favorite club and enjoy the stadium feeling. The only thing you have to do is cheer yourself.

Chop chop chop! Our radio revolution app is getting another update! Broadcast details will now reach you more reliably and faster. Why do you ask? Well, some meta data didn't go into caching via the API and even purging didn't help or something like that - but hey, you asked!
After we moved our servers from Windows 3.11 to Windows 7 for reasons of modernity, we can offer new features again: You can finally transfer SWR3 to a Chromecast receiver. In addition, the time span in which you can rewind and look up titles has increased. One thing is still missing: Our otherwise very decent app cannot look into the future.
Thanks to new technology that the NSA made available to us, we can now determine the location for your weather report much faster. And if a phone call interrupts your listening to the radio, which hopefully never happens, you can now continue listening immediately after the phone call. We love magic.
A small step for us, but a big step for you: From now on you can jump to your favorite modern goals and contributions from the live program. So you don't have to scroll around like crazy anymore, just take the markers. And then jump back to the post. And again. And again. And again. Great!
Many people want better traffic. Of course we want to do our part. Traffic reports in the app are now presented 22.4% more clearly. According to our calculations, this could prevent 48% of traffic jams in Germany, but only if you all participate. That means: check the traffic jams in the app every day and learn them by heart. Safe journey!

Live Videostream activated and less crashes. With our update you become part of SWR3 and can decide for yourself which songs you listen to. Skip songs you don't like and save your favorite songs in your own playlist. Missed the beginning? Just scroll back in the program and listen to it again. When, where and how you want to.
This is the future of radio
We want to be honest with you: We were bored with our old app. It couldn't even rewind the radio livestream and save songs. And the old app couldn't skip songs from the live radio program. Well, we had to realize: No radio app can do that. So we just built one that can do it all right, right, really cool, have fun!
Bug fixes
Using 25 rolls of tape we managed to make the livestream more stable. Should be holding up now!
Some of you also couldn’t get past the launch screen. That’s okay since it’s a very nice launch screen. But also sad, since there’s so much more to discover. We fixed that.
It's amazing that an app works flawlessly on all devices at the same time ... HAHA. Sorry, a joke. Of course, that does not exist. To make it work again, here comes an update for you.
* We've locked multiple graphic designers in the basement to optimize the look for 2019. Well, perfect example what a month on bread and water can be good for. Thanks to all involved parties that made it out.

The tablet app is now great fun. Now you can get to our content, playlists and podcasts even easier. We also removed some smaller bugs that occurred when your system language was set to Klingon. In every other language we’re also available for feedback: app-support@swr3.de

Sometimes we’re awake at night and question where the bugs come from. But in spring we’ve had the exterminator which now means: We’re now able to sleep more relaxed.
